Last Christmas by Julia Williams
This is a present from Christmas. I started it last night. At the moment there seems a few too many characters to get my head around and she seems to skip from one to the other. I have just read the reviews on Amazon and people seem to like it. Hopefully it will all come together soon.

From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it.

Funny you should say that. So did I when I got the book. And funnily enough the first chapter is called gave you my heart then there is another chapter further on called you gave it away.

RE: Last Christmas by Julia Williams
I have finished the book now. This book is set in a place called Hope Christmas and London, over the course of a year, the book follows several families as they cope with loss in its many forms including broken relationships, jobs, mental faculties and trust. The book is split into two parts (which interweave throughout the story); 'This Year' and 'Last Year'. I found this confusing at times.

I have mixed feelings about it. Although I enjoyed reading it but when it had finished I thought, is that it! I kept getting mixed up between a couple of the characters but maybe that was just me.

I thought that the ending was a bit corny but I had a feeling that it was coming so I was prepared. Maybe I would have felt a bit different about the book had I read it at Christmastime rather than after Christmas.

From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it.
