The Gruffalo - tv adaptation at xmas
Did anyone see the tv adaptation at christmas of this wonderful kids story.

I loved it, it was not what i expected, and i did not expect it to work at all, but it did. My littlest one (3 in march) runs upstairs to get the book and sits pretending to read through the book while watching it, so its a joy to see him so interested in a book, in a sort of way.

Yes I made sure that I watched it. We read the book regularly, I bought it a few years ago for my little girl but she still loves it. She really enjoyed the adaptation too.

From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it.

This was a wonderful adaptation of a truely wonderful childrens book. A simple story that has become a firm favourite among my smallest customers. Story times are fun when they all join in.

Woody I dont think It matters how he gets interested so long as he does Big Grin

Currently Reading:-Willing Flesh by Adam Creed

your totally on the ball, i just love the fact he shows an interest in books, in whatever way, we bought him a poingo pen for xmas, which is a pen that comes with two books, and wherever he touches the pages in the book, it either reads the text or makes sounds of the background/characters. it has been his fav present.

but back to the adaptation, i think it was beautifully handled and gave some depth to a very funny story.
